Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponics

In NFT system only the bottom part of the roots is immersed in the nutrient solution which is recirculated.

In Dutch bucket system the roots grow in a neutral medium like gravel, clay balls, coco peat, pearlite etc. The nutrient solution is fed intermittently to keep the growing medium and roots wet.
Dutch bucket system made using plastic fruit trays lined with black PP sheet and polythene sheet. Grow Medium is coconut coir below and coco peat above.
